About the Class:	The Georgia Prescribed Fire Manager Course teaches participants the essentials needed to be a successful prescribed burner. The course covers subjects such as producing a written plan for the burn, weather effects on fire, smoke management, Georgia Laws and regulations pertaining to prescribed fire and other subjects needed to become certified. For full certification a participant must complete the 2 day course and pass the exam. An affidavit then must be submitted verifying the experience of the participant to become fully certified. The affidavit is not needed to attend the class.
