Calling All Cooks: Darton Alumni Association is Seeking Recipes
The Darton College Alumni Association is seeking recipe submissions for a 336-page coffee-table style cookbook.
The cookbook will cover the scenery, spirit, and flavor of Southwest Georgia and also celebrate the area's rich history and culture. Peppered with photographs of food, stories of memories long past, and anecdotes and facts mixed in with a whole lot of fiction, it will be sold throughout the United States in the wholesale and retail markets. Proceeds from the sale of the book will benefit Darton's Scholarship Fund.
The cookbook will include the names of all who provide recipes for the book as contributors. To submit a recipe, please call Michelle Sims at (229) 317-6729 or e-mail it to michelle.sims@darton.edu.
