First Staff Member Receives Staff Peer Recognition Award
Ed Fox, of Plant Operations, was recently awarded the Staff Peer Recognition Award at this fall's staff development days.
Fox is a skilled trades worker and has been with Darton State College for 20 years.
He is a hard worker, a team player, and extremely knowledgeable in his field. He looks for solutions to many problems that some may say cannot be done and will always go outside his scope of work if called upon.
Co-workers describe Fox as a "dedicated worker and one of the most enjoyable people you will ever have the pleasure of working with and around."
Fox's work ethic and attitude is one that exemplifies the meaning of a loyal Darton State College employee. It is people like Ed Fox that help keep this campus operating like a well-oiled machine.
The Staff Peer Recognition Award was established this year and Fox is the first recipient of the award. Staff members are encouraged to nominate colleagues who have demonstrated an exemplary work ethic and a positive attitude. Nominations are solicited twice a year.
