The Darton College Athletic Department was once again recognized as the top athletic program in the GJCAA for the 2007-2008 school year after an outstanding effort last season from its athletic teams. DC originally received the GJCAA Trophy Cup following the 2005-2006 year.

The Alumni Association is seeking recipe submissions for a 336-page coffee-table style cookbook. The cookbook will cover the scenery, spirit, and flavor of Southwest Georgia and also celebrate the area's rich history and culture.
