Career Exploration

Career Exploration is the process of learning about yourself and the world of work, identifying and exploring potentially satisfying occupations, and developing an effective strategy to realize your goals. This step usually follows the process of choosing your major. The Career Center has tools and resources to help you.

Once you have chosen a major, it's time to explore career options. A wide variety of information about industries and occupations is available. Exploring several industries and occupations will help you to discover the options that most interest you. First, it's important to think about the difference between occupations, industries, and work options. We have provided a list of a few sites below to help you in the career exploration process.
