Student Health Center
The Darton State College Student Health Center is available to all students, faculty, and staff. It is an outpatient clinic provided to evaluate and treat acute illnesses. Our goal is to provide high quality, cost-effective medical care, as well as, to focus on health promotion and education.
The Darton State College Student Health Center is privately located in the Student Center, C-1150 - Glass Entrance doors closest to the water fountain.
Hours of Operation:
Monday-Thursday: 9:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
Friday: 9:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.
A nurse practitioner is available in the Health Center every Tuesday and Thursday during hours of operation. The Health Center is open for administrative purposes during semester breaks, but students are not treated during these breaks. The Health Center is closed on official college holidays

Office Visits for Staff & Students:
All students are eligible for services at the Health Center, as the fee was included in registration. This covers the cost of seeing the Nurse Practitioner as often as needed during the semester. Staff pays $20 per visit to see the Nurse Practitioner. There are additional fees for in house labs and medications.
In the case of an emergency, call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room.
