DART 1000
What is DART 1000?
DART 1000 is a two-hour credit course designed to aid first-year students in adjusting to the academic and social community at Darton. Currently covers topics such as study and test taking skills, diversity issues, civility/respect towards peers and instructors, critical thinking skills, as well as a variety of other issues.
DART 1000 is designed to be an open and comfortable forum for students to express their thoughts and ideas.
Who is required to take DART 1000?
- Students required to take DART 0098:
- ALL full-time, first-term students
- ANY first-term student registered for learning support in reading or English (full-time and part-time)
- Students are NOT required to take DART 0098:
- If they are taking ONLY on-line courses
- If they are attending part-time (excluding students taking learning support classes)
