IAAP Darton Chapter Formed
Those pictured (from left to right) are:
Rosa Thomas, Student Member; Della Strum, Darton College Student Chapter Vice President; Wayne Yesbick, Business/Social Science Division Chair; Sherryl Sneed, Coordinator of the Office Administration Program and Student Chapter Advisor; Dot Murphy, CPS/CAP, President of the Georgia Division and member of the Atlanta Chapter; Kareecha Newby, DC Student Chapter President; Caroline Ford, and Diane Broughton, DC Student Chapter Treasurer.

The Darton College Student Chapter of IAAP (International Association of Administrative Professionals) was chartered in an impressive chartering/installation ceremony on September 17, 2002 in the Allied Health/Community Services Center of Darton.

The speaker was Mrs. Dot Murphy, CPS/CAP, President of the Georgia Division and member of the Atlanta Chapter. Linda Dillion, CPS, Georgia Division Student Chair, welcomed the new members to the organization and encouraged them to be actively involved in the student chapter at the state, regional, national, and international levels.

Cindy Welch, President of the Albany Chapter, introduced the speaker.

Other distinguished guests included members from the Tifton Chapter, the Port City Chapter, the Atlanta Chapter, and Wayne Yesbick, Business/Social Science Division Chair.

The chapter advisor and each student member signed the charter and were given a membership pin and a welcome package. (Continued on p7)

The Iraqi leader is in violation of 16 U.N. Security Council resolutions as reported by Bush’s administration. In 1991 Iraq promised U.N. inspectors unrestricted access to arms inspection; needless to say they were constantly deceived, stalled and altogether banned from returning to Iraq after December 1998. For over ten years, and more so over the last four years U.S. intelligence has warned about the potential danger of this Arab leader. Well, who is this "strong man"?
