Credit by Exam -- Challenge and CLEP

Credit by Exam is a process by which a student who believes he or she is proficient in an academic subject may take either a Challenge Exam or CLEP test to earn credit.

Inquiries about taking a Challenge Exam should be directed to the division or department in which the course is taught.

CLEP (College-Level Examination Program) exams are standardized tests that cost $100, ($80 to CLEP and $20 cash proctor fee).
