Testing Information for Online Students
This information is for students enrolled in online courses.
When you begin your course, your instructor will provide you with test information.
Pay particular attention to the instructions as you will follow them through your course(s). Arrangements for one online course may vary from arrangements in another online course.
Your instructor is your first source of information about testing.
Tests scheduled in the
Testing Center at the Albany Campus
Some instructors schedule their tests at the Albany campus. Those schedules may be viewed at http://www.darton.edu/current/testing/calendar-main.php. Read all links on the page. A Darton ID card is required to test. ID cards are made in the Technology Bldg. A-153, from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, Monday-Friday (when the college is open).
Testing for students who live
beyond commuting distance to Darton
Your instructor will let you know if your online class requires proctored tests. Course specific information accessible from the Online Division web site includes proctor test information for those courses that require it. Students are responsible for finding a proctor (monitor) for their tests. The proctor must meet Darton’s criteria for a test proctor and follow the guidelines for Darton’s Off-site Proctor Policy (found within your course shell). Complete information regarding off-site proctored testing may be found within the course shell of your online class.
Links for possible off campus proctors:

- USG E-Core administrators http://ecore.usg.edu/exams/sites.php
Always inquire about proctor fees at potential test sites.
Be prepared to present your picture id prior to beginning each test.
We wish you success in all of your classes at Darton, both on campus and off campus.
