COMPASS Placement Retesting Policy

Darton College allows one retest for applicants who score within 5 points of the cut scores that exempt students from placement into the highest level of Learning Support classes and who take their retest BEFORE they register for classes.

Once a student registers for class, he or she forfeits the right to retest.

A retest schedule will be provided immediately after the placement test.

There is a $10 fee for each area retested.

Retest Deadline

Retests must be completed BEFORE the applicant registers for classes. This includes any early registration dates the applicant may participate in.

Regular registration days are:

October 1, 2009 B-term Registration for Fall 2009
January 5, 2010 Spring 2010 Registration
January 7, 2009 Spring Late Registration
