Darton College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award certificates and associate degrees. A two-year (soon to be residential) college, Darton serves the immediate fourteen-county area, has recruiters in the Columbus and Atlanta areas, and offers numerous courses and programs in an online environment. Opened in 1966, Darton College has 100+ full-time faculty members (view Darton's current descriptions of employee positions) and enrolls approximately 5,000 students in two-year transfer programs, career programs, and one-year certificate programs.
