Nurse Practitioner Position

Description:
This position provides urgent, chronic and preventative health care to the students of Darton State College as well as faculty and staff. A master's degree in nursing, Georgia certification as family nurse practitioner and current nurse practitioner clinical experience. Experience in Student Health setting and a nursing education setting is preferred.
Have strong interpersonal skills as they will be working closely with other NP's, MD, LPN's, MA's and front office staff
Hours per week: 20-30
Required Qualifications:
- Masters degree Nursing with ANCC or AANP certification as FNP;
- training and/or working knowledge of CPR and Phlebotomy are required;
- must possess state of Georgia APRN license;
- must have strong computer literacy skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- 3 or more years experience advanced practice; college health experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
Supervision:
This position reports to the Dean of Nursing
