Cultural Exchange Club (CEC)
The purpose of the Cultural Exchange Club is to enhance the college experience of students from various ethnic, cultural and national backgrounds by establishing an organization through which they can more easily become involved in Darton State College activities, and form personal and academic networks. Through the activities of Cultural Exchange Club, both the college and the outside community will be provided with a greater awareness of the wide diversity of Darton State College students.
The Cultural Exchange Club is involved in many activities throughout the year including one of Darton’s biggest campus events, the International Festival, regular club meetings an international picnic, off campus trips to Florida and Atlanta, and celebrations such as Thanksgiving Day and Fish Camp dinners each semester. All current Darton State College students are eligible for membership. The Cultural Exchange Club does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, religion, color, age, sexual orientation, disability, veteran’s status, marital status or national origin.
