International Peer Mentors Program
The purpose of international peer mentor program is to promote internationalization of campus. Peer mentors will need to volunteer to meet with their assigned international student once per week for social and conversational purposes in an informal setting. The program is meant to help our international students improve their English skills and learn more about U.S. culture, and introduce our local students to the cultural diversity of our campus and the world. Some examples of activities which peer mentors would do include: having meals together, going shopping with their mentee, attending student activities with their mentee and various events in the community, contacting other international students who are interested in enrolling at Darton College.
If you are interested in participating in this program, please contact Diana Garner at diana.garner@darton.edu, or visit 219-C.
