Tickets are on Sale Now for the 4th Annual Murder Mystery Dinner
January 02, 2014
ALBANY – Darton State College’s Humanities Division invites you to a night of excitement and mayhem at the 4th Annual Murder Mystery Dinner fundraiser, which will be held January 24 and 25 at 7 p.m. in the Darton Student Center.
The Humanities Division, along with the Darton Players, will present A Fatal Combination. This year’s play, adapted from Paging Death by Peter Depietro and Tony Hamill, is about high-valued Byzantine art that has arrived at the Parker House Hotel along with a cast of eclectic and intriguing patrons. Each character will peak your interests and keep you engaged as you assist Detectives George and Martha Manning in discovering which patron desired the art badly enough to kill.
The murder mystery dinner is an annual scholarship fundraiser for the Humanities Division. The event is an interactive performance in which the audience experiences the story as if they were extras in a movie and are invited to help solve the mystery.
Tickets for the event are $50 for general admission, or $350 for a reserved seating of eight. Tickets must be purchased in advance by January 17 and include the interactive show, a three-course dinner, and open bar. All proceeds from the event benefit student scholarships, and a portion of the tickets are tax deductible.
