Darton to Host Candidate Forum

ALBANY, GA - Darton State College to host candidate forum sponsored by the Democrat, Independent, Republican Team (D.I.R.T.) Club. The forum will be held Thursday, April 17, 2014, in the J Building, room 133, at 5 p.m. This will be an opportunity to hear the current platforms of local candidates, and their plans for our community’s future.
Candidates who have confirmed are State Representative Carol Fullerton, Murlean Edwards, and Darrel Ealum for State Representative, Greg Duke for the second congressional district of Georgia, U.S. House of Representatives as well as various local candidates for Dougherty County Commission and School Board.
Each candidate will be given a three-minute opening, a two-minute closing, and three questions from the floor will be permitted with a one-minute response. Campaign literature will be available for attendees. A reception will be held prior to the forum in J-133.
