Dr. Steve Wrigley, Executive Vice Chancellor, to Speak at Darton's Commencement Ceremony

ALBANY, GA – Dr. Steve Wrigley, executive vice chancellor for administration for the University System of Georgia (USG), will deliver the 2014 Darton State College spring commencement address. Dr. Wrigley oversees the day-to-day operations of the USG’s budget, facilities, Georgia Public Library Services, human resources, and strategic planning units.
Dr. Wrigley previously served as the interim vice president for Public Service and Outreach as well as vice president for government relations for the University of Georgia (UGA), and is a longtime UGA senior staff member. He is a veteran of state government having served former Governor Zell Miller as his chief of staff. For more than 25 years, Dr. Wrigley has served in several positions at UGA and in State government.
Dr. Wrigley earned his undergraduate degree from Georgia State University and his doctorate in history from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL.
Darton will hold its spring commencement on Thursday, May 8 at 7 p.m. in the Cavalier Arena.
