Darton Receives Reaffirmation of Accreditation by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
June 25, 2014
ALBANY, GA – Darton State College announced that it has received notification from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) reaffirming the institution’s accreditation for another 10 years.
“We are very proud that our accreditation has been reaffirmed,” Darton Interim President Paul Jones said. “This is not only a testament to the hard work and dedication our faculty and staff demonstrate on a daily basis, but also our continued commitment of providing academic excellence.”
SACSCOC also continued the accreditation of Darton State College after a Substantive Change Committee reviewed the previously approved change, a reviewed membership at Level II offering the Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

The Commission also accepts applications from other international institutions of higher education.
