Best-Selling Author Omar Tyree To Speak at Darton Jan. 13
Best-selling author Omar Tyree will be on Darton's campus January 13 to deliver an address "Revisiting Dr. King: Is the Dream Attained?" and do a book signing.
He will begin speaking at 7 p.m. in the Student Center. The book signing is at 8 p.m. Both are free and open to the public.
New York Times bestselling author Omar Tyree is the winner of the 2001 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work in Fiction. His work includes Boss Lady, Diary of a Groupie, Leslie, Sweet St. Louis, and more.
