Darton College is Open!


Darton College classes remain on a normal schedule. However our area continues to be under a Flood Warning. Please exercise your own judgment to determine whether or not to travel to campus. Follow the advice of your local law enforcement and emergency management officials. If it is dangerous, please do not attempt to travel to campus.

SAFETY MESSAGE...All Persons with interest along the river should monitor the latest forecasts and be prepared to take necessary precautions to protect LIFE and PROPERTY. Do not drive cars through flooded areas. IF YOU SEE FLOOD WATERS ... remember to “TURN AROUND - DON’T DROWN”.

While most of the smaller stream basins have crested from last weeks rainfall, Tuesday’s heavy rain will likely lead to additional rises. The main streams and rivers are still rising. The additional rainfall could lead to higher crests. Additional flooding is likely with the forecast of several more inches of rainfall through Thursday night.
