March 11, 2010
Storm chaser Reed Timmer will speak at Darton College Wednesday, March 17, at noon in the theatre.
Reed Timmer is well known as the most successful and extreme storm chaser in the world, having intercepted more than 250 tornadoes and a dozen powerful hurricanes during the last decade. Timmer is a strong advocate for extreme weather and disaster education, and he conducts storm spotter seminars for the National Weather Service, emergency managers, and the general public. He is CEO of Weather Fusion, LLC, and Extreme Tornado Tours, LLC.
This event is free and open to the public. Tickets for the show can be picked up at Darton through March 16 in C-225.
