Economic Impact of Darton College Grows To $117 Million
A newly released study on the University System of Georgia’s annual economic impact on the state of Georgia indicates that Darton College has a $117 million annual economic impact on the local economy and an employment impact of 1,157 jobs.
This is an increase from Darton’s previous year’s output impact of $111 million on the local economy. The study, which spanned Fiscal Year 2009, was conducted by the Selig Center for Economic Growth in the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.
