Nurse Mary Lightfine To Speak October 6 As Part of Distinguished Lecture Series

Mary Lightfine will speak on Wednesday, Oct. 6, as part of the Darton College Distinguished Lecture Series. Lightfine is known as the “Nurse Without Boundaries.”
Lightfine will speak at 11 a.m. in the Darton Theatre. This event is free and open to the public.
Lightfine spent 16 years as an emergency room nurse before joining Doctors Without Borders. During the past 12 years, she has lived and worked in more than a dozen countries, including some of the most war torn spots on earth. She is now president of Volunteers Without Boundaries.
