Theatre and Dance Departments Present A Midsummer Night’s Dream Nov. 11-14
Shakespeare’s much loved comic fantasy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, will be brought to life by the actors and dancers of Darton College on November 11-13 at 8 p.m. and on Sunday, Nov. 14 at 2 p.m.
Featuring the well-known characters of Puck, Bottom, Titania and Oberon, the play involves love lost and regained and the comic mischief that ensues when ordinary people find themselves lost in the fairy world of the woods after midnight. Midsummer represents the fourth collaboration between the theatre and dance programs, which have recently included Godspell and The Gifts of the Magi.
Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for students and free with a Darton College I.D. This production is appropriate for adults and students aged 13 and older, and it is sponsored by the Darton College Office of Student Activities.
