Go Global 5k Run and 1 Mile Walk/Run
The second annual Darton College Go Global 5k Run and 1 Mile Walk/Run was held April 9.
Heath Lamb came in first, crossing the finish line in 16:12. The women’s field also featured impressive competition, with Llonisha Lee, coming all the way from Atlanta, finishing in 21:52.
Dr. Ulf Kirchdorfer, Darton College’s executive dean for Global Education, and Cross Country Coach David Mann coordinated the 5k and 1 Mile Walk.
Those interested in sponsoring next year’s event should contact Dean Kirchdorfer at ulf.kirchdorfer@darton.edu or Coach Mann at david.mann@darton.edu. All proceeds go toward student scholarships.
