Faculty and Staff Members Recognized at Darton's Honors Program

Several faculty and staff members were recognized at Darton’s recent Honors Program.

Teacher of the Year Award went to Jeremiah Pitts, assistant professor of ESOL. Adjunct Teacher of the Year was given to Dianne Owens, part-time instructor of biology at the Cordele campus.

Dr. Deena Newman, advising center coordinator, received the Outstanding Staff Award. The Advising Award went to Sarah Brinson, assistant professor of physical therapy.

The College Service Award went to Larecia Gill, instructor of nursing, and Jennifer La Curan, assistant professor of dance. Ken Williams, assistant professor of computer information systems, received the Community Service Award.
