Darton To Host "Exercise is Medicine" Program Sept. 27
Dr. Adrian Hutber will present “Exercise is Medicine" on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m. in the Darton College Theatre.
Sponsored by the Dougherty County Medical Society, the presentation focuses on “Exercise is Medicine." This is an initiative focused on encouraging primary care physicians and other health care providers to include exercise when designing treatment plans for patients. This initiative is committed to the belief that exercise and physical activity are integral in the prevention and treatment of diseases and should be regularly assessed as part of all medical care.
Presenter Adrian Hutber currently serves as vice president, Exercise is Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine.
