Darton College To Host Black History Month Events

Darton will host Black History Month events on Feb. 16 and 23.

Dr. C.W. Grant, former student activities director at ASU during the Civil Rights era, will discuss college life during the Civil Rights Movement on February 16, 11 a.m.-12 p.m., in J-121.

The Office of Minority Advising and DCEMD will host a student forum on Thursday, Feb. 23, from 1-2 p.m. to discuss the economic disparities in the African American community since the Civil Rights era. Panelists will include Dr. Joshua Murfree, Bishop Frederick Williams, and Aaron Johnson, as well as staff from the Dept. of Labor. The forum will be held in B-101.
