Distinguished Lecture March 12
Swamp Gravy co-founder Joy Jinks will discuss her work as a social activist on Monday, March 12, as part of the Darton College Distinguished Lecture Series.
Jinks will speak at 11 a.m. in the Darton Theatre. This event is free and open to the public.
Jinks is the co-founder of the play Swamp Gravy, which began in 1991. She will discuss her work as a social activist and how she and a few people with vision and creativity changed the landscape of Colquitt, Ga. She will share her vision of the Creative Community Project and how it can work in other communities.
