Darton Names Academic Recognition Student For 2012


Heather Herbert has been named Darton College’s Academic Recognition Student for 2012. Each college in the University System of Georgia annually selects one student to honor for their academic achievements.

An online English major from Cumming, Herbert is vice president of online for Phi Theta Kappa and is currently running for the international office of vice president of Division II.

As the Academic Recognition Student from Darton College, her name is read on the floor of the Georgia General Assembly and entered into the official record. She will receive a declaration at Darton’s Honors Program in April.
