Four Darton State College Students Place at 9th Annual SWGA College Art Invitational

ALBANY-Darton State College is proud to announce that four Darton students placed at this year's 9th Annual SWGA College Art Invitational. Patrick Garner won first place in the drawing category, Suzann Hagins won third place in ceramics, Lee Martin placed third in graphic art, and Bethany DeMott placed third in sculpture. Theart exhibit held it's opening and awards ceremony last Friday night, November 9, at the Albany Arts Guild Carnegie Library in downtown Albany.
The SWGA College Art Invitational is an art exhibit that showcases the work of college artists from Darton State College, Albany State University, and Valdosta State University. The exhibit showcases the student's art in the categories of painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, graphics and photography. The exhibition runs through November 29 and admission is free.
