Girl in Chem LabDarton College offers 84 associate degree programs, including 26 which can be completed on line, along with 49 certificate programs. Programs are offered in the following fields: Allied Health, Business, Computer Programs, the Fine Arts, the Social Sciences, Humanities, Nursing, Physical Education, Science and Math(ematics). All college-level programs are accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools; many are accredited by state and national boards. All are specifically designed either to prepare students academically and professionally to transfer to a four-year college or university or to pursue their career goals by entering the workforce immediately upon graduation from Darton.

Students with TechnologyThe dedicated faculty at Darton are proficient in their respective fields and approach their instruction with a holistic and hands-on approach. Small classes that ordinarily enroll fewer than 25 students enhance the learning experience and provide ample opportunities for one-on-one interaction between students and professors. Our on-campus facilities and community partnerships assure that students at Darton have access to state-of-the-art equipment, resources, and technologies.

The Honor’s Program at Darton State College provides a challenging academic experience for students who have excelled in prior academic environments, whether in high school or college. For students in the Honors Program, the academic experience is enhanced by their enrollment in honors courses, by the opportunities to learn in a community of students who share similar academic and professional goals, and by special social and enrichment activities that foster personal growth and professional development.
