Cancer Registry Management Program
Mission Statement

To provide comprehensive education in tumor registry management, using the state-of-the-art technology available at Darton College, for the purpose of meeting the needs of Southwest Georgia healthcare facilities’ cancer registry programs.


Program Objectives

To provide students with management and administrative skills, knowledge of medical science, database management, data retrieval and analysis skills so that they are prepared to sit for the CTR examination. The individual curriculum objectives are designed to facilitate student learning in each of the curricular areas listed in the accreditation standards of the National Cancer Registry Association’s Formal Education Program Review Committee (FEPRC).
