The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program at Darton State College

The Associate of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography at Darton State College is a six semester program that prepares the graduate to function as an ultrasonographer in the areas of abdomen, superficial parts, OB/GYN and neurosonology. Graduates are eligible to sit for examinations offered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and earn ARDMS credentials in the following areas: Abdomen, OB/GYN, Breast (upon documentation of number of exams observed and scanned), Neurosonology and Physics / Instrumentation.
