Mission Statement

To be the preferred program in this region for the preparation of skilled professional and committed histotechnicians

To teach individuals the art and science of histotechnology

Develop methods for the recruitment and retention of quality students and instructors in the field

Continually develop and revise the program curriculum as dictated by technological changes, new methodologies and board exam modifications

Integrate development of individuality with concepts of teamwork and professionalism in the classroom and clinical facilities

Promote the profession of histotechnology through interaction with local and statewide educational institutions and local, state and national societies
