Medical Laboratory Technology

Darton's two-year Medical Laboratory Technology program prepares graduates to practice as a laboratory technician in hospitals, clinics, physicians' offices, and other health care facilities. Graduates are eligible for the national certifying exams. Darton State College MLT Program is offered in both a traditional classroom format and a combination on-line and distance learning format.
MLT attrition rate = 27% (2012-2013)
MLT Graduation rate = 73% (2012-2013)
Attend professional courses online through the accredited MLT program at Darton State College and complete laboratory course requirements on-campus or at Georgia Highlands College, or hospital/clinic collaborations.
