Accreditation
Darton State College is a two-year unit of the University System of Georgia.
Darton State College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, GA 30033-4097, (404) 679-4501. Darton State College has been given the authority, through the University System of Georgia, to grant an Associate of Science Degree in Polysomnographic Technology.
The Darton State College Polysomnographic Technology Program prepares graduates to function as Polysomnographic Technicians and is currently the only college in the University System of Georgia granting an Associate of Science in Polysomnographic Technology degree. There are only a few colleges around the country that offer this degree, and we are fortunate to be one of the first colleges in Georgia to offer this.
