Clay Shoot Competition

This event is an annual event held at the Flint Skeet and Trap Club in Albany and has raised over $10,000 for Business & Social Science division scholarships.

Distinguished Lecture Series

The division host the Distinguished Lecture Series during the fall and spring semesters. Students have an opportunity to meet and hear well known speakers from across the country. Recent speakers include; Herman Boone, the legendary coach from the movie “Remember the Titans”, Daniel Griswold, Director for Trade Policy Studies at the Cato Institute, Mary Lightfine, founder of Nurse Without Boundaries, Dr. Kent Keith, CEO Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership, Joy Jinks, co-founder of the play Swamp Gravy, and Dr. Donald Ratajczak, nationally known economist, to name a few.

Law Day

The Dougherty County Bar Association and the Darton College Paralegal Student Association, host law day every spring. Attorneys, judges, and other distinguished individuals come together and discuss various topics within the field of law.
