Robin Nealy
In 1991, Dr. Nealy graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a B.A. in English. In the same year, she began working toward her M.A. in English at Texas A&M University. Upon completion of her M.A., she began work on her Ph.D. in education at Texas A&M. In August 1994, she became a full-time instructor in the Department of English at Prairie View A&M University. She received her doctorate in December 1999. In the summer of 2000, Dr. Nealy finished the Prentice Hall THEA Writing Guide, which she co-authored with Karen Hackley, a Houston Community College instructor. Dr. Nealy completed her service at Prairie View A&M University in 2001 and began teaching English full-time at Wharton County Junior College (WCJC) in 2002. In 2007, she became Assistant Director of the Learning Assistance Centers at WCJC and began working as an online, adjunct instructor for Darton College. In 2010, Dr. Nealy became department head of the Developmental Studies (Writing and Reading) department at WCJC.
