Amy J. Foster
Amy Foster has been involved in education for ten years. In addition to serving as a classroom teacher, she has held various supervisory and administrative level positions.
She began her career after graduating from Georgia Southwestern State University with a B.S. in Middle Grades Education. After serving as a teacher in a middle school classroom, Amy obtained her high school certification and has spent the last seven years serving as English Department Chair and Literary Chair in a Georgia school system. After she graduated from Albany State University with a Master's Degree in English Education in July of 2011, Amy came to teach at Darton College.
Amy has resided in the area for 33 years, and she is looking forward to continued service to the community through Darton College and her students. She has a strong commitment to education and will begin pursuing an advanced degree in the Spring to enhance her teaching capabilities at Darton College.
In addition to her teaching experience, she served as owner and C.E.O of a commercial and residential garbage business.
