Regents' Test Information - Summer 2010
EFFECTIVE FALL SEMESTER 2007 –
All students (with the exception of those enrolled in Learning Support
English or Learning Support Reading classes) are required to take the
Regents’ Test during their FIRST semester of enrollment.
The Summer 2010 administration of the Regents' Test is over.
Q: What if I did not show up to take my test?
A: You must sign up for the Regents’ Test Workshop or the Regents’ Test Skills classes - to determine which one, see the remediation table below. You will not be permitted to enroll in college credit classes without also enrolling in the required Regents’ workshop/classes.
Q: What if I really had a good reason for missing the test?
A: With many different testing times over a two-week period, there should have been plenty of opportunity to find a test day and time you could make. (Next semester, try not to wait until the last day to schedule an exam!)
Q: When will I know the results of my test?
A: Approximately the last week of the semester.
Q. What if I took the test and failed one part of it?
A: See table above.
Q: What if I failed both parts?
A: See table above.
Q: What if I fail to enroll in the classes and they are required?
A: The “start of semester class audit” will probably catch you, and your advisor will try to contact you to enroll you in the classes. If you are not enrolled by the end of the first week of the semester, your entire class schedule will be purged and you will need to re-register.
If you have further questions, contact the Regents’ Test Advisor, Steve Preston, at (229) 317-6983 or see him in room C-143 (The Darton Writing Center).
RESULTS WILL BE POSTED IN BANNER on MyDC AT END OF THE SEMESTER.
INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING VIEWING YOUR GRADES WILL BE GIVEN TO
YOU AT YOUR TESTING SESSION.
