Regents' Test Information
Fall 2008
EFFECTIVE FALL SEMESTER 2007 –
All students (with the exception of those enrolled in Learning Support
English or Learning Support Reading classes) are required to take the
Regents’ Test during their FIRST semester of enrollment.
FALL 2008 INFORMATION
Test sessions for FIRST-TIME TESTERS who are NOT ENROLLED in RGTW 0197, RGTR 0198, or RGTE 0199 will be as follows:

Please go to the Regents Registration page in order to register.
Seat reservation is done on a strict first-come-first served basis. Preparation for the test is available free of charge in the Writing Center (C-144).
INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS ENROLLED
IN RGTW 0197, RGTE 0199, or RGTR 0198
Students enrolled in these classes MUST have permission of instructors to test.

RE-TESTERS must have permission of their RGTE and/or RGTR instructors to test.
ALL STUDENTS, BE EARLY! You should arrive 15 minutes prior to the test time. ALL students MUST bring:
- picture ID
- #2 pencils with clean/good erasers for the reading test and registration sheet
- BLACK INK PEN for the essay portion of the test. DO NOT bring ANY other color pen (including blue). Also - NO ERASABLE PENS ALLOWED.
- dictionary for use on the essay test during the last ten minutes (no thesaurus)
NO CELL PHONES
NO FOOD
NO DRINKS
NO TALKING OR TEXT MESSAGING ON CELL PHONES IS ALLOWED!
RESULTS WILL BE POSTED IN BANNER on MyDC AT END OF THE SEMESTER.
INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING VIEWING YOUR GRADES WILL BE GIVEN TO
YOU AT YOUR TESTING SESSION.
