Human Services Resource Directory
A Guide for Southwest Georgia
The Human Services Resource Directory is a resource guide designed to assist human services workers, professionals, and lay persons desiring to locate services in Darton State College’s fourteen county service region for individuals in need. Since the first manual in 1998, students in the Human Services Technology Program have worked each year to update the community resource information as a volunteer community project. HST realizes that one way we can connect better services to citizens is by improving the information we provide to the public. Our goal in providing this information is to help people find the assistance they need when they need it. We sincerely hope that you, your agency, individuals and families that you serve benefit from this directory.
The contents of this publication are a compilation of work by past and present HST students. The resource manual is an ongoing HST Program community service project. Every effort has been made to provide accurate information. However, the Darton State College/Human Services Technology Program cannot guarantee there are no errors or be held responsible for any misinformation. As you are aware, information changes on a daily basis. Please help us stay current by informing us of agency changes and emerging service needs.
