Epesy Bryant
Epesy Favors Bryant has been employed at Darton since 1991. She obtained her initial nursing education at Albany Junior College (now Darton). After working a few years, she earned her BSN from Albany State University. She earned a MSN from Albany State University in (Adult Community Health- with a concentration in the role of the nurse educator) in 1992. Prior to working in academia her nursing career was spent in the practice arena in the areas of medical-surgical nursing, nephrology nursing, mental health nursing and psychiatric nursing. She is a long time resident of Dougherty County. Epesy chose nursing as a career because she love helping people stay well, as well as helping them to heal once they are sick. Epesy is very active with her two adult children, and grandchildren. She enjoys reading and gardening. Her favorite part of teaching is watching students grow as they perform hands-on care while working with patients and the patients' families.
