Barbara Miller

Currently working on PhD in Nursing Mercer University, Atlanta, GA
Mrs. Miller received her MSN in the Clinical Nurse Specialist track with the nurse educator option and is certified as an Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist. Her PhD studies began in 2009 and her focus for dissertation is on simulation and is in progress. She has been working for Darton since 2003 as adjunct faculty and started full-time in 2005. Mrs. Miller’s background in nursing is varied to include Med/Surg, ER, Occupational Health, L&D/Postpartum/Nursery, and School nursing. Her nursing career has been very interesting and rewarding, and she plans to continue working in nursing education for many years. She has three children and her hobbies include reading and traveling.
