Nursing Faculty and Staff
Marsha Kinnett began her nursing career with an associate degree in Nursing from Augusta College (now Augusta University) in 1978. She practiced as an Emergency Nurse and Critical Care nurse for many years and became certified in both areas. She has also been an ACLS instructor. Miss Kinnett received her B.S. degree in Nursing from the University of South Carolina, and her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Ga. State University. She is a family nurse practitioner. In 2005, she received a post-graduate certificate in psychiatry-mental health from Albany State University, and is a certified clinical nurse specialist in Psychiatry as well. Miss Kinnett’s favorite thing about nursing is “doing something with my time that really makes a difference.” She is especially proud of her 28 children-- the ducks on lake Loretta, which she raises, nurses, cares for, and transports to the vet when needed. She enjoys painting in pastels and loves to sing.
