Nursing Faculty and Staff
Jodi M. Warren
Jodi Warren began her nursing career in 1997 when she graduated from Georgia College and State University with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing. She began working at the local hospital in Dublin, Georgia. After working a couple of years at the bedside and as clinical coordinator of the critical care unit, Jodi felt pulled toward nursing education. Her love and idealism of nursing made her want to share her knowledge, encourage and mentor new members of the profession. Jodi decided to return to school and completed a master’s in nursing in the clinical nurse specialist track with a certificate in nursing education in 2003.
Jodi has been employed with Darton College since 2009 when she began working as a part-time clinical instructor for the Sandersville Healthcare Bridge Program. She had the opportunity to come on as full time faculty in 2011. She finds her job helping students achieve their dream of becoming a RN very fulfilling.
Jodi is married and has 2 children. She remains employed at Fairview Park Hospital as a house nursing supervisor and is a BLS and ACLS instructor for the American Heart Association. In her spare time, Jodi enjoys spending time with the family at the lake and helping her father on his horse farm where they raise, train and show barrel horses.
