Division of Nursing
In a commitment to excellence, the principle mission of the Darton State College Nursing Division’s Associate degree in nursing program is to assist in meeting the healthcare needs of the community. By providing a quality educational program, Darton State College’s Associate degree curriculum prepares a safe, competent, entry-level nurse, who is personally responsible, demonstrates ethical behavior, and is prepared to pass the National (NCLEX) licensing examination. The RN to BSN Completion program expands on the Associate degree mission in that the focus extends to prepare the BSN graduate for roles across the continuum to include leadership, health promotion, disease prevention, community health, and research.
