Latrona Lanier
Latrona Lanier graduated from Darton College’s associate degree program in 1993 and began working in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) soon after. Ms. Lanier completed her BSN in 1998 from Albany State University and her MSN in 2006 from Albany State University. She is currently completing her dissertation in pursuance of her PhD in Nursing from Georgia State University. Over the years, she has earned numerous awards including “Nurse of the Year” in 2004.
Ms. Lanier has been a nursing faculty member at Darton College since 2006. She currently serves as lead instructor in Fundamentals of Nursing. She has a passion for nursing and adult education. So much so, she encouraged her daughter to complete the ADN program. Ms. Lanier is married with three children, serves as church mother, and in her leisure time enjoys shopping, shopping, and more shopping.
