Cecil B. Hopkins Book Award

The criteria are:

  1. Must be enrolled in NURS 1112.
  2. Must have consistently demonstrated outstanding clinical performance.
  3. Selected by the nursing faculty by majority vote.

DANS Award

Criteria: The student consistently participates and assumes an active leadership role within the DANS organization.

John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital Award

The criteria are:

  1. Outstanding or significant contribution to Darton College.
  2. Grade point average of at least 3.0 or above while a student at Darton College.
  3. Consistently demonstrates outstanding clinical performance.
  4. Selected by the nursing faculty by majority vote.

Lambda Chi Nu

Lambda Chi Nu is Darton College’s honor society for ADN graduates. The criteria for selection are:

  1. Candidate for graduation.
  2. Cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher.
  3. Clinical excellence.
  4. Faculty recommendation.

Outstanding Nursing Student

The criteria are:

  1. Outstanding or significant contribution to Darton College.
  2. Grade point average at least 3.0 or above while a full-time student at Darton College.
  3. Selected by the nursing faculty by majority vote.

Palmyra Medical Center Award

The criteria are:

  1. Outstanding or significant contribution to Darton College.
  2. Grade point average of at least 3.0 or above while a student at Darton College.
  3. Consistently demonstrates outstanding clinical performance.
  4. Selected by the nursing faculty by majority vote.

Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital Award

The criteria are:

  1. Outstanding or significant contribution to Darton College.
  2. Grade point average of at least 3.0 or above while a student at Darton College.
  3. Consistently demonstrates outstanding clinical performance.
  4. Selected by the nursing faculty by majority vote.
